Project Overview
For this Via Serbelloni new build, the kitchen was designed to feel modern yet timeless, rooted in a refined, organic aesthetic that feels intentional, light-filled, and highly functional for everyday living.
With Café matte white appliances and brass hardware already selected, the design focused on restraint and cohesion, ensuring each material and finish worked harmoniously without introducing unnecessary visual noise.
Design Approach
To maintain a calm, elevated palette, we selected classic white shaker cabinetry as the foundation, allowing the brass-accented appliances and warm wood elements to stand out without competing. White oak was introduced intentionally through the island, refrigerator surround, and select cabinetry details to add warmth and architectural interest while keeping the overall look streamlined.
Glass-front cabinetry was used sparingly, flanking the custom range hood, to display rarely used pieces and prevent visual clutter. A dedicated coffee station with floating shelves was designed to support the client’s daily routines while remaining visually integrated with the rest of the kitchen.
Quartz countertops with moderate veining were carried up the backsplash and behind the range and coffee station, creating a seamless, statement-making surface that elevates the entire space. Brass fixtures and a curated mix of hardware styles add subtle depth while maintaining cohesion throughout.
