Project Overview
The Royal Forest Remodel was designed to create a bright, clean, and airy kitchen that feels warm, functional, and deeply intentional. The homeowner envisioned a classic white kitchen with a light, welcoming feel, while also needing the space to work seamlessly for everyday life.
By rethinking the original layout and carefully balancing form and function, this kitchen was transformed into a space that feels both elevated and highly livable.
Design Approach
Originally, the kitchen featured a peninsula and a separate kitchen nook located just steps from a formal dining room. Since the dining room already served as the primary eating space, we reworked the layout to eliminate the underutilized nook and instead created a generous gourmet island, which was a key request from the homeowner.
The new layout prioritizes flow, storage, and usability, incorporating a spacious island, a dedicated pantry section, and a thoughtfully designed coffee station tailored to the homeowners’ daily routines. Every decision was made with intention, ensuring the kitchen functions beautifully without feeling cluttered or overdesigned.
The finished Royal Forest kitchen balances beauty and practicality through a carefully considered mix of clean white finishes, natural textures, and warm metal accents. Each selection, from the layout and storage solutions to the materials and styling, was intentionally chosen to enhance flow, maximize functionality, and create a kitchen that supports how the homeowners truly live.
