Project Overview
The Forest Way Bathroom Remodel was designed to solve a number of functional challenges while creating a space that feels calm, elevated, and intentionally detailed.
Originally, the bathroom featured a single-sink vanity, limited storage, a poorly placed toilet, glass block walls, and both a tub and a small stand-up shower. The layout lacked privacy, flow, and the everyday functionality the homeowners needed.
Our goal was to completely rethink the space – improving storage, privacy, and usability while maintaining a clean, timeless aesthetic.
Design Approach
The layout was fully reconfigured to better support daily routines. We removed the existing glass block walls and raised the window to enhance privacy without sacrificing natural light.
A new double vanity was introduced alongside a custom linen closet, providing generous storage while maintaining visual balance. Both the vanity and linen cabinet were custom-designed in white oak, adding warmth and texture to the otherwise soft, neutral palette. Electrical outlets were thoughtfully integrated inside the cabinetry to accommodate everyday essentials like hair tools.
The tub was removed to allow for a significantly larger shower. The new shower features euro glass, marble herringbone wall tile, and a floating quartz bench for both function and visual lightness. A brass shower system was selected to add warmth and contrast.
To keep the space feeling refined and cohesive, we chose a mitered-edge quartz countertop with minimal veining and a substantial five-inch profile. Black hardware was paired with brass faucets and lighting to create depth and contrast without overwhelming the space.
A patterned marble floor tile grounds the design and adds visual interest, offsetting the clean lines and simplicity of the cabinetry and walls.
